Tired of Moving

2O24

This polyptych work expresses the fatigue of movement, represented through abstracted self-portraits depicting the artist’s sleep patterns.

Fast fluid brush strokes mirror the constant restlessness of modern life, painted onto mattress-shaped canvases. The internal exhaustion of disordered sleep, in symbiosis with the pain of moving forward through the endless loop of life, where true freedom is found only when asleep. Always in motion yet yearning for slowness.
